Fun fact: The teddy bear is named after Teddy Roosevelt.
Roosevelt used to big game hunt and he wanted to kill a bear, when his group found an old bear, they tied it to a tree and showed Roosevelt, "Here's your bear Mr.President". Roosevelt was disgusted and refused to kill the bear. A comic was made on this incident (you can find it google), then a toy maker saw it and was inspired to make the stuff
